Who can train to become a driving instructor?

You must:

•  Hold a full UK or EU licence for 4 out of the last 6 years
•  Be able to read a normal size number plate from 27.5 metres (90 ft)
•  Have less than 6 penalty points on your licence
•  Not have committed any offence in the last 10 years ie: bank robbery, assault etc
•  Not have been disqualified from driving at any time within the 4 years prior to being entered on to the register
